UAE at Moscow Exhibition

THE UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation’s pavilion at the Trade Fair Horse Exhibition in Moscow is being visited by many who are keen to know more about Purebred Arabian horses.

The 10-day exhibition ,which was opened on Augest 15, is expected to create awareness about the noble creature and its ability.
UAE’s two leading realtors Sorouh Real Estate and Hydra properties are actively involved in the Federation’s representation at the huge Sokolnichesy exhibition hall spread over 10, 0000 square meters. They are also getting support from Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, Abu Dhabi Culture and Heritage Authority and Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club.

The Moscow Exhibition, organized by the MVK, a holding company, has drawn 200 companies from various countries. Apart from UAE the other prominent countries who are participating in the exhibition are Germany, Holland and the host country Russia.

Lyubov P Arkhipova, vice president of the MVK a well organizer of international exhibitions and conferences said she was delighted to have UAE’s presence in the exhibition where different breeds of horses and all kinds of goods for them are on display.

“We expect around 35,000 people to visit the exhibition and this is being our 10th year we have also included a special area for juniors and children from various sporting clubs are visiting the facilities to familiarize themselves with riding and to learn about equestrian sports,” said Arkhipova herself a keen horse racing enthusiast.

“In Russia it has become a passion to know more about Purebred Arabian horses and many families are showing tremendous interest in buying Arabian horses,” she said.

Ismer Stud which is one of the biggest private-owned Arabian stud farm from Germany is also promoting Arabian horse’s world wide is also being represented. “We have been involved in Arabian horses since 40 years, said Dr Nils Ismer who was present to explain the salient features of the Arabian horses. “ In the late fifties my family bought the first Arabian mare and today the stud farm has more than 200 horses that are made their present felt because of their beauty and ability,” he concluded.

The stud farm’s specific crossing of the most famous Egyptian, Polish, and Russian bloodlines meets the requirements of a successful breeding programme which resulted in the most beautiful and strong Arabian horses,” said Ismer.

Undoubtedly the exhibition not only gives the visitors a chance to see some of the best breeds but also a chance to buy the gadgets and accessories for them.
