Four horses were declared Best Conditioned Horses in the 120-km CEI, Two-star First Gulf Bank Endurance Challenge held at Bou Thib Endurance Village on November 18, 2006. Please note the following :
1. Horses must be presented with a valid FEI Passport or an FEI approved National Passport with Recognition Card with up-to-date influenza vaccination record
2. The electronic heart rate monitor and display system shall be used to determine the heart rate of horses as per set protocol
3. At the Pre-Ride Inspection please ensure that your horse is sufficiently warmed up before you bring it inside the vet gate. Any horse which will not permit examination or which is dangerous to the examiners shall be eliminated
4. The Pre-Ride Briefing shall be held before the start
5. Riders must wear hard type riding helmets with chin strap and shoes with heels
6. Whips, spurs and long reins are not permitted
7. Private cars will not be permitted inside any forest area and must travel at a safe distance from the horses in all other areas
8. Giving water or assistance of any kind from inside a car is forbidden
9. No crewing in the entrances or inside the vet gate
10. No more than two persons and the rider shall be permitted with the horse at any time inside the vet gate. All persons are requested to remain quiet when horses are being examined
11. Any horse retired after the start must be seen by an official Ride Veterinarian before it leaves the endurance village
12. There will be a Best Conditioned Horse competition
