NOTE:
1. Horses must be presented with an approved passport or a duly authenticated UAE Equestrian & Racing Federation Vaccination & Identity Document with up-to-date influenza vaccination record.
2. At the Pre-ride Inspection please ensure that your horse is sufficiently warmed up before you bring it inside the vet gate. Any horse which will not permit examination or which is dangerous to the examiners shall be eliminated
3. Pre-ride Briefing at 6:00 am on 9 February 2007
4. Riders must wear hard type riding helmets with chin strap and shoes with heels
5. Whips, spurs and long reins are not permitted
6. Each rider may be accompanied by one authorised car only. Cars must travel at a safe distance from the horses
7. Giving water or assistance of any kind from inside a car forbidden 8. No crewing in the entrances or inside the vet gate
9. No more than two persons and the rider will be permitted with the horse at any time inside the vet gate. All persons are requested to remain quiet when horses are being examined
10. Horse Re-Inspection requires a new Vet-In Time
11. Horse Re-Examination shall be approx.10 min before departure 12. A horse retired after the start must be seen by an official Ride Veterinarian
13. There will be a Best Conditioned Horse Competition
IMPORTANT:
- Respecting UAE custom & values Local Menfolk shall not be permitted at the ride
- Private videography & photography (cameras or mobile) is forbidden
