Bu Deeb Endurance Competition
for Juniors & Young Riders On Thursday

The first endurance ride for Young Riders and Juniors of the season will be held at the Bu Deeb Endurance Village, Al Khatem, Abu Dhabi, on Thursday, December 23, 2004. The ride is open to all qualified horses aged six and above and to be ridden by qualified riders aged between 14 and 21 years. Full Story

Dhaheri back in Winning spree

Mufta Al Dhaheri reemerged as the top rider at the weekend show jumping events held on December 16 and 17, 2004, at the Ajman Equestrian Centre, Ajman. Though the principal competition for A1 riders was dominated by top riders, it was once again Dhaheri, from the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, who was invincible. Riding Ikea 3, he proved difficult to catch on time and his two wonderful rounds assured him of the winner's podium. In the last weekend's competitions held in Dubai, Dhaheri had moved over to the second place. Full Story

Mohammed Al Owais Wins Principle competition

Mohammed A Al Owais from the Al Safinat Stables put up a brilliant display by winning two competitions including the principle one, at the weekend show jumping events held on December 9 and 10, 2004, at the Emirates Riding Centre, Dubai. As part of its drive to promote the discipline in the UAE, The UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation sponsored the events. Hussein Mohammed Hussein, Secretary General of the Federation, said: "We are very pleased to sponsor these competitions as part of our efforts to advance the standard of show jumping in our country".
